WELCOME

I have been tracing my family history for over 20 years and am excited to see my ancestors arriving in Battersea, South London (my birth town) as far back as the 1880s. I am slowly finding information about their lives and now want to merge it with local history, and create a One-Place Study for Battersea showing how things have evolved over time.

My first ancestors arrived at the Nine Elms end of Battersea, then moved towards the Falcon Road and Battersea High Street areas. I have given each street it’s own page, so please feel free to follow the links in any order.
